Paint A Text On
A tree
In This
advanced tutorial you will learn how to
creat a tree bark and paint your text on it .you
will using photoshop filters .

STEP 1
:create a 640×480-pixel New
project and then In the toolbox, click on the
Default Foreground and Background Colors
icon to set up the default color.
Choose Filter >
Render > Fibers to apply this filter Change the
variance to 17 and the strength to 4. Then save your
work as PSD file and we will use it for the
displace filter.

STEP 2:
Now we want to
colorize
our tree . To do that choose
Image >
Adjustments > Hue/Saturation (OR press ctrl+U)
then Check Colorize and then set the
Hue to 35, the Saturation to 40, and the
Lightness to –35. The tree will be yellowish
brown.
** Then Choose
Image > Adjustments > Curves adjust the shape of
the graph like what you see
in
the image This step will make the color of the
tree more darker.

STEP 3:
Click on the Channels
Palette. Hold down the Ctrl key and click on the RGB
channel to select only the lighter areas of
the tree . Then, press Ctrl+H to hide the selection.
** Then Choose Image
>Adjustments> Hue/ Saturation and set the Hue to 115
and the Saturation to –55 ( DON'T check the
colorized)..
Choose Edit > Fade
> Hue/Saturation and set the Opacity to 80%

STEP
4:
Set the foreground
color
to red (#FF6666) . then Choose the Horizontal Type
Tool from the toolbox. and write your text .with the
"Comics Sans MS" Font .
Then resize your
text (Ctrl +T) To make it larger and rotate it
like what you see.
Choose Filter >
Distort > Displace.
You will see a message asking you whether you want
Rasterize your layer in order to apply the filter.
Click on the OK button to open the dialogue box Set
the Horizontal Scale and Vertical Scale to 12 , and
then click on OK. You should now see a dialog box
from which you can choose the PSD File that you
saved it before (Step1). Choose the the file and
press open

STEP 5:
press Ctrl+A to
select the entire image, and then choose the
Background layer from the Layers Palette .Then
Choose Filter > Distort > Spherize and set the
Amount to 75% and the Mode to Horizontal Only. This
step will spherize the tree.
Then Select the
text layer and press Ctrl+F to repeat the the
filter. Then Press Ctrl+D to deselect the
selection.

STEP 7:
Select the Background layer
and then press Ctrl+J to make another copy of it
(Layer 1). Select the Background layer again,
click on the Foreground Color button in the toolbox,
and set it to black. Then, press Alt+Del to make the
Background layer black.
Select the tree
layer and click on the link icon of the text
layer directly above it to link the two layers.
Press Ctrl+T to apply the Free
Transform command. Hold down
the Alt key and drag in the handles around the
image. then Press Enter to finalize the
transformation.

STEP 8:
Choose the Gradient Tool from
the toolbox and then .Click on the Linear
Gradient button in the option bar at the top to
set up a linear gradient. Then, click on the
drop-down arrow button beside the Gradient Color
button to
open
the Gradient Preset panel. Click on the second
gradient (Foreground to Transparent).
Create a
New Layer .Drag it right below the text layer at
the very top. then start dragging from
outward to inside Click on the text layer and
set the Blend Mode to Color Burn.
Press Ctrl+J to
make another
copy
of the text layer. Select the
duplicate text layer and set the Blend
Mode to Linear Light and the Fill to 35%.
Select the
duplicate text layer from the Layers Palette and
click on the Add a Layer Style button at the
bottom. Choose Bevel and Emboss to open the
Layer Style Panel. and change setting like what
you will see in the following image
