Puncture Your Text:
This tutorial will show you how to Puncture a text on a metallic surface using nothing but photoshop.

STEP 1 :
Create a new project with any size (but resolution should be 150) and then type your text and resize it as you see:
 
 
Then select the text layer and click ctrl+e in order to merge it with the background layer, Or select Layer >> merge down

 
STEP 2:
Select Filter >> blur >> Gaussian blur and adjust radius to 12:
And then choose Image >> adjustment >> levels and move the right most slider to the left as you will see to increase the tone of the text border:
 
 

STEP 3: 
Choose Filter >> Pixelate >> Color halvetone and adjust the setting as follow:
Keep in mind that the max radius is used in order to determine the width of the hole and we keep the value of channel 1 on its default value because it is represent the red channel and our text color is the red.
 
 
 
Select the magic wand tool and hit on a white area and then create a new layer and fill the selection with black:
 
 

 
STEP 4:
Create a selection a round the text using the rectangular marquee tool as u see:
 
 
 
The press Ctrl+Shift+I To invert the selection and then press the Delete key to delete this area :
 
 
Then select the background layer and fill it with red:
 
 

STEP 5:
Select the text layer in the layer palette And then Select Image >> Adjustment >> hue/ saturation ( Ctrl + U ) and set the settings as follow :
 
 
Open the Layer style panel of the text layer and adjust the drop shadow and bevel settings as follow:
 
 
STEP 6 :
No we want to create the metallic surface.
Set the foreground color to black and the background color to white and Create a new layer and place it above the text layer and then choose Filter >> Render >> Clouds and press Ctrl + F to reapply the filter again.
Then Choose Filter >> render >> Lighting effect and adjust settings as you see:
 
 
Then Choose Layer >> Create Clipping mask Or press Ctrl + g
 
 
Change the color mode of the clouds layer to Soft light
Then change the Fill of it to 70
 
 
Or Set the fill to 10 :
